In conjunction with Teatro del Pueblo's Political Theatre Festival, The Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies at the University of Minnesota is sponsoring:

The 7th Political Theater Festival
This community outreach, interdepartmental, intercollegiate, international symposium and theater festival offers a series of lectures around theater, performance, literature and social discourse. The group of scholars attending will also incorporate into their lectures and discussions topics on Human Rights, immigration, discrimination, violence, poverty, displacement, political theater, and women. Lectures and discussions will be conducted in Spanish and in English.
