The Amigo Award

We at Teatro del Pueblo are very proud to have received "The Amigo Award" from El Fondo de Nuestra Communidad. Board Member Juan Lopez graciously accepted the award on December 8, 2007 at an awards ceremony held at the Walker Arts Center.

Cherokee Residency

We just finished up our residency at Cherokee to great success. Working with Folk tales, the second graders strengthened their literacy skills by creating theatre. We even performed the plays in the television studio, so that they now can be broadcast through the in-school television network.
